Agrium's Seed Survivor Mobile Display

The Seed Survivor Mobile tour of California has ended. CFAITC would like to thank Crop Production Services and Agrium for their partnership with the Seed Survivor Mobile.

CFAITC had the honor of hosting this truck and trailer unit that serves as a plant nutrient classroom on wheels. The unit is curriculum-based with interactive learning experiences that taught California elementary students about growing healthy plants and where their food comes from. The stations encourage elementary-aged students to master the elements that plants need to grow.

Students left with an understanding that plants need water, light, healthy soil and nutrients to survive. After learning about the elements that plants need to survive, students planted a sunflower seed to take home and grow!

The interactive games featured in the trailer, that focus on how plants grow, are available at GrowingTheNextGeneration.org.
